A park for Bethlehem's children
A Catholic couple from the States who visited Bethlehem noticed that Palestinian children had nowhere to play except in narrow over-crowded streets. They noticed the same in Gaza and Ramallah. They made a generous donation to the Pontifical Mission for the building of three parks catering for Palestinian mothers with their children.
The new park, currently under construction, is being built on a hillside overlooking the town of Bethlehem. Property was donated by the Latin Patriachate.  Bethlehem municipality will manage the park.
